Initial Consultation

During your first appointment, your psychologist will ask you lots of questions to get to know you, understand your background, listen to your main concerns, and tailor a treatment program.

Individual psychological treatment is delivered using a range of evidence-based approaches that are tailored to suit your current concerns and goals for treatment.

Pregnancy Support Counselling
This is a supportive and non-judgmental service to support you through pregnancy-related issues, and to provide information about the options and services relevant to any pregnancy concerns that you may have. Parenting, health, or relationship concerns may also be addressed through these sessions. With a valid GP referral, you can access Medicare rebates for up to 3 sessions in addition to rebates under a Mental Health Care Plan.

Neuropsychological Assessment
Neuropsychological assessment is available for the following conditions:
Neurodevelopmental concerns (e.g., ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders)
Acquired Brain Injury
Neurological disorders
Dementia
Assessments involve clinical interviewing, gathering of information, cognitive tests between 2-8 hours, a written report and a feedback session.
Fees vary
Cognitive, learning and neuropsychological assessments are not currently eligible for Medicare rebates.
